The joint research summary of Jushi group (glass fiber industry)
industry characteristics:
1) is in the rising stage of the industry in the next 15 years. The period from 2004 to 2008 was the fastest development stage of the domestic glass fiber industry. The financial crisis in 2009 had a great impact, but it began to grow rapidly from the half year of 2009. The industry belongs to new materials, energy conservation and consumption reduction, government encouragement, no obvious cyclical fluctuations, and strong substitutability
2) wide range of applications: construction, transportation, electronics and electrical appliances, environmental protection, wind energy (the glass fiber of Jushi has many factors that affect the accuracy of displacement test. Now it can adapt to 5 MW wind turbine blades, which was originally less than 3 MW). At present, it is widely used in rail transit. Using glass fiber to make train sleepers for high-speed rail has been in batch this year, and it will become the only supplier of glass fiber train sleepers in Japan next year. Shipbuilding, aerospace, etc
3) Oligarchic Competition: (China Fiberglass, OCV, Chongqing International, PPG, JM, Taishan fiberglass), the industry concentration is high, and the production capacity of the top five enterprises accounts for 65% of the global production capacity. China's top three companies account for 70% of China's production capacity, and the "19" represents the largest passenger capacity of China's first large passenger aircraft, which is 35% of the global production capacity of 190 seats. Jushi accounts for 18% of the global production capacity and hopes to account for 30% in the future
4) from 2010 to 2012, the compound growth of global production capacity was 5.29%, and that of China was 8.01% (president Zhang of Jushi group himself thought that the data was too conservative, and generally would be greater than the growth of GDP). The compound growth rate of demand is 4.26% and 13.39%. The development of wind energy, the reduction of aircraft manufacturing and automobile weight to save energy, has begun to become a reality, and the technological bottleneck has also been broken through. Therefore, it is also one aspect of demand growth
5) during the economic crisis in 2009, some production capacity was closed, and gradually recovered in 2010, but manufacturers will consider reducing the size of wheels in the future; China is still the main force in the growth of glass fiber production capacity, but trade frictions have slowed down the pace of Chinese enterprises' going global; China's energy conservation and emission reduction work has promoted the further elimination of backward production capacity
6) obvious scale advantages and high requirements for energy conservation and emission reduction. Large customers need stable and high-quality supply, so it is necessary to do large-scale. In August this year, 30% of all power-saving production was stopped, which put great pressure on the company. At present, it is great, but it did not stop production in the end
7) China's industry has a production capacity of 2.2 million tons of glass fiber, including 500000 tons of backward production capacity, including 300000 tons of glass balls to produce glass fiber and 200000 tons of broken glass to produce glass fiber, all of which are production lines with high energy consumption, non environmental protection and backward production capacity. In terms of advanced production capacity alone, Jushi group accounts for 50% of the country
